Call for Volunteer Monitors

MELA Foundation is seeking interns for unpaid, volunteer positions of Monitor for the Dream House exhibition.

In the current collaborative Sound and Light Environment by La Monte Young, Marian Zazeela and Jung Hee Choi, the new configuration of the Young and Choi collaborative sound environment is presented within the ongoing Zazeela and Choi site-specific light environment. In the light environment Zazeela presents three works: Abstract #1 from Quadrilateral Phase Angle Trvaersals, Ruine Window 1992 from Still Light and Dream House Variation I. Choi presents two works: Environmental Composition 2017 #1 and Color (CNN), live realization.

Description Monitor will open or close exhibition; turn on electronic sound equipment and turn up light environment; make sure all technical equipment is running properly; greet visitors; distribute information; answer questions concerning the environment; sell books and recordings.
Hours Exhibition is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 2:00 PM to Midnight. Time slots from 1:30 to 6:30pm and 6:15pm to Midnight need to be filled on each of those days.
